About Us

OUR MISSION

To empower small and mid-sized businesses by reducing extreme weather event risks through data- and technology-led parametric

OUR VISION

To be the world leader in extreme weather parametric insurance product development and delivery

OUR DIFFERENCE

Unlike most parametric insurance providers, we don’t build products and force-fit them into a carrier’s or agent’s toolbox.
We build our products from the outside in, spending countless hours with Customers and businesses across the US, collecting their data and listening to their stories to understand how the rapid rise in extreme weather events is impacting their livelihoods.
We use farm-specific dairy production data mapped against 50 years of actual weather experience to ensure our solutions solve our customers’ problems. This provides value to our customers and allows agents and carriers to stand out with a differentiated product that solves a painful unmet customer need.

Technology & Data

Our data scientists and developers are continuously building new ways to measure risks from extreme weather events, leveraging the world’s leading weather databases and building AI-powered proprietary models to deliver value to customers and our insurance ecosystem partners. Like most tech-forward companies, we leverage cloud applications for scale, reliability, and core tech capabilities, allowing our team to focus on high-value work. What differentiates us is our enterprise data model, integrating weather, risk and Geographic Information System (GIS) data sources into a proprietary view of risk and pricing, inherently flexible to allow new data sources at any time. Finally, we offer a GIS view to refine risk and pricing, with the ability to construct map-based views of pricing, weather, and other overlays connected to our enterprise data model.
